Looked like a good package, but beware if placing an Order outside the USA. The item is sold with ATSC TV system. Australia uses PAL TV system. In AUS, the TV doesn’t work – no reception, no compatable operating network. The same in other countries.

Purchased for use at work mainly as a TV. Have direct basic cable plug in at my desk, but won’t find the normal basic channels (only finds QAM). Called the help desk and after 10 minutes straight up told me that they don’t have any info that isn’t in the manual (the very empty manual). Am returning to Amazon.

I purchased these philips portable tv n dvd for my 2 year old son @ amazon, shipping is free n its fast enough. i am satisfied with the performance of these product as well as the price , i bought mine under 100 bucks. my son calls it a small tv n i guess he likes it so much. im using it for almost two mos n the performance is still great even the user is a two years old boy. Picture quality is good, n it has a handy remote(- no volume n power buttons) After connecting it to cable line we had at home it scanned a lot of channels. i would still recommend these product even the price is 100+.

I purchased this product after looking at several similar poratble DVD/TV’s. This product was priced at $142.99, but had been cut to $72.99. Plus, I got free shipping & handling, and an additional $40.00 off for signing up for the Amazon credit card, bringing my total cost to $32.99…..score!!
I have been very impressed with the quality of the tv and dvd…..they live up to the advertisement. I would’ve liked an installed usb port too, to download images and pictures, but overall, I have been very satisfied. This TV will require good reception of digital signals. We live in a rural area, and even with the attached antenna, couldn’t get any channels. However, when I hooked it up to our large antenna, it got all the channels that our other TV’s had. Again, I think it was a great deal for the price I paid.
